At Movement Chiropractic, our mission is to empower every patient to cultivate their own true sense of health and wellness through chiropractic care and the latest in scientific based treatment methods and modalities.

History of Movement Chiropractic

Movement Chiropractic opened it’s doors on February 18, 2019 but you could say the idea started formulating many years ago. Dr. D and Dr. Gary met as students at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 2013. Sparing you the mushy details of their relationship, they realized early on that their treatment styles and work ethic were quite in sync. As years passed, they continued to grow individually and together into the doctors they are today.

Both doctors worked for other practices right out of school which helped them refine their techniques, but that was never the end goal. They wanted to open chiropractic wellness practices in Southern California that was more modern than other offices and used the latest and most cutting edge techniques. In 2017, Dr. D purchased Align and Thrive Family Chiropractic where her love of helping prenatal and postpartum women began. She focused on studying all things birth related including Webster technique, BirthFit, and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization. Her practice grew faster than she could have ever wished for.

In late 2018, the two were pushed to make a HUGE decision: do we start a practice together or run separate ones? After a lot of back and forth on the topic they decided that the option allowing them to help the most people would be to open a practice together.

That brings us to today! Movement Chiropractic hinges on the promise that each person who walks, crawls, or rolls through our door gets the best and most individualized care. Your health is our goal and our purpose and we are so excited to see you thrive.
